Terms of Use

1. The app

Numvolt is a mental arithmetic training app published by Roméo Gambino. It is provided free of charge, without account, advertising or in-app purchase. Apple's standard end-user licence agreement applies to the download.

2. The ladder

Joining the ladder is optional. By joining, you agree that your nickname, city and best sprint scores are published to other users, as described in the privacy policy. You agree to choose a nickname that is not offensive, does not impersonate someone, and does not contain personal data such as a phone number or an address. We may remove any record that breaks these rules, without notice.

Scores are ranked as sent by the app. Numvolt has no server-side anti-cheat beyond a plausibility limit; the ladder is a game between people who play fairly, not a certified competition, and gives no right to any prize.

3. Educational content

Questions, tips and corrections are generated by the app and checked by an independent program. They are provided for training purposes; Numvolt is not a school curriculum and does not replace a teacher.

4. Availability

The app may be updated, and the ladder depends on Apple's iCloud service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the ladder and may stop it in a future version.

5. Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
